Besides providing products and services, we have broadened the base of photographic and videographic culture and contributed to its development through years of initiatives.
Canon Photo Circle, a members-only photo community, and the EOS Academy are part of these efforts. Canon Photo Contest, one of the largest of the kind in Japan, has for more than half a century been serving as the gateway to success for amateur photographers.
GRAPHGATE was started in 2023. This is an audition to discover, develop and support new photographers and videographers who can play leading roles in photographic and videographic culture in the future. Canon Gallery hosts many different photo exhibitions as the place for professionals and amateurs alike to experience the appeal of photography. The gallery shares new examples of photo expressions and continues to grow. We have also established Canon Photo House as a communication hub for customers and Canon to have a direct dialogue and co-create new ways of enjoying photography and videography.
In 2024, the [Individual Customers] page of our website was renewed to provide information catering to customers’ interests. Registration data for our services are standardized into the Canon ID account to enable us to provide better content and information. In this way, we are improving our web services.
By offering opportunities to shoot, enjoy and share photos and videos, we will contribute to the continued development of photographic and videographic culture.

Photographers active in news and journalism settings capture decisive moments and communicate facts and excitement all over the world. Besides high-performance products, we also provide meticulous service and support with the aim of helping many photographers continue to demonstrate their best performance. At large-scale events in Japan and overseas, we conduct maintenance, inspection, cleaning and minor repair of equipment. We assist in shooting in workplaces where mistakes are simply not allow, and keep living up to the trust customers place in us.

Leveraging our accumulated imaging technology, we offer the EOS series of digital interchangeable lens cameras that make possible high speed, comfort and high image quality. Our lineup, mainly the EOS R series of mirrorless cameras, is improved and expanded for a wide range of customers. EOS R1, a flagship model of digital interchangeable lens cameras, was released in 2024. Along with a variety of lenses, we offer optimal video experiences and support customers’ expressions.
To satisfy the desire to easily record photos and videos that excite sensibilities, we will broaden the possibility of photography by offering products and services that cater to customers’ needs, such as the Vlog camera PowerShot V10 which, with simple operation, proposes visual expressions with high image and sound quality and free shooting styles; the compact digital camera PowerShot V1 condensing sophisticated functions into a small body; and the full-scale experience of video creation using EOS R50 V.

Delivering high image quality and high maneuverability, Canon’s compact and lightweight broadcasting lenses create high-resolution images in the program production settings at broadcasting stations. Solutions accurately meeting needs from different production settings make high-quality visual expressions possible. For example, CINEMA EOS SYSTEM enables movie and commercial film producers to embody the expressions they envision. We also offer the remote camera system to meet demand for remote production.

PIXUS, an inkjet printer (IJP), is extensively used in hobbies and jobs because of its features and services linked with convenient apps. iNSPiC and SELPHY, a mini-photo printer easily connectable with a smartphone for printing, allow for printing on stickers and a variety of photographic paper, offering new value of printing and new ways of enjoying it. PowerShot GOLF, a small and lightweight golf distance meter, can shoot stills and videos and is easily portable even when playing golf. Expanding the availability and usage of these products, we are proposing products and services to contribute to enrichment of customers’ lifestyles.
