The DigitalWork Accelerator series is a cloud service to digitally centralize and manage various documents exchanged between companies and realize smooth coordination and advanced use of information. Along with complying with the Electronic Books Maintenance Act, we coordinate business-to-business data safely and conserve information assets. We also contribute to the reform of operational processes and acceleration of DX through links with office MFPs and document scanners to alleviate issues with computerization and harness accumulated information assets. In addition, we provide diverse BPO services encompassing back-office operations. The status of operation of an introduced device is tracked on a real-time basis via a network and systematic maintenance is performed through remote support and by engineers. This creates an environment conducive to using a device.

Promoting DX requires action in terms of both the active and passive aspects. Active DX involves WebPerformer-NX, a low-code development^* platform to support the creation of services suitable for many different needs. WebPerformer, a low-code development tool effective in the modernization of mission-critical systems and outdated peripheral systems, is designed for passive DX. They contribute to the realization of DX in each area.

The manufacturing and distribution industries face an urgent need to address labor shortages and environmental issues. We offer AvantStage, a comprehensive solution for best-of-breed mission-critical operations that facilitates mutual linkages among multiple systems such as FOREMAST and SCPlanet: the former is a solution for demand forecasting and supply-demand planning using mathematical science technologies^* and AI, whereas the latter is a solution for supply chain planning relating to production and logistics. It optimizes supply chains and also helps to reduce environmental impact and food waste.

We help customers across a broad array of industries and business types achieve DX and reform their operational processes, using the imaging technology developed through our original business of cameras, together with AI, a wide variety of devices and the software for managing and analyzing accumulated data. This is made possible by coordination with a group of network cameras, video management software and video analysis software. The diverse imaging solutions include a hybrid cloud video platform and a cloud recording service. They make it possible to centralize the management and use of videos.
In stores, for example, we offer a remote customer service that enables limited numbers of store staff to smoothly and effectively serve customers via video, the ability to visualize consumers’ contact with a product and an interactive advertising service using digital signage. For factories and infrastructure, we offer solutions for collecting, analyzing and visualizing data from cameras and sensors and checking the on-site situation on a real-time basis.
MREAL, an MR (mixed reality) system, helps to resolve manufacturing issues, for instance by reviewing operational processes and reducing prototyping frequency. It is capable of combining virtual digital data and the real world, streamlining product designs and checking the workability of a virtual production line.

SMEs encounter many challenges in their efforts to digitalize their operations. We remain connected with the SMEs and fully support them in the promotion of DX. For example, we offer Makasete IT DX series, a series of services for providing comprehensive support, ranging from managerial support in IT investment plans and acquisition of DX certification to the selection and introduction of optimal IT devices, daily operation of these devices, maintenance actions in the event of malfunction and the development of human resources. Moreover, we offer optimal solutions and contribute to enhanced productivity and reduced workloads with the use of HOME, our IT support service enabling customers to choose only what they need.

As cybersecurity risks continue to increase, we offer products such as ESET, an endpoint security measure for which we are the sole distributor in Japan, and GUARDIANWALL, a security measure we developed ourselves for e-mail. We also focus on solutions in the area of cloud security to achieve zero trust. Cybersecurity Lab is in place to analyze and study the latest threats and communicate threat information and trends via media such as our corporate site for cybersecurity information.

Linking Canon's imaging technology with Axis Communications'^* network video processing technology and Milestone Systems'* video management infrastructure system achieves high-accuracy surveillance and monitoring. The hybrid cloud video platform VisualStage Pro powered by Arcules and the cloud recording service VisualStage Type-S support remote operations. Moreover, the introduction of ultra-high sensitivity cameras able to be used during dark nights and AI-based image analysis and recognition technology help to reinforce the security of important infrastructure facilities and prevent and mitigate urban disasters.

SOLTAGE, an IT infrastructure service, addresses diversifying issues such as the shortage of IT personnel and business continuity planning (BCP). By offering cloud integration, network, system operation and maintenance, security and data center services to suit customers’ needs, SOLTAGE reduces the operational burdens on the system and concentrates resources on core operations.
